Beat 7
Officer Ronnie Molnoskey

June 2010
This month I made three new beat contacts. On June 2, I met Maria Rodriguez. Ms. Rodriguez said that she has lived in the neighborhood for five years and has no complaints. On this same day, I met with Ester Rubalcaba. Ms. Rubalcaba said that she and her husband have lived in the neighborhood for many years. Her main complaint was neighbors playing their radios very loud. I gave her my card and told her to call when the problem arises. Also on this date, I met Monica Almazon. Her complaint was some of the neighborhood kids spinning their tires down Edgewood and Greenwood. She pointed out a house where some of the kids hang out at. I told her that I knew several of the kids and that I would speak with them. I later made contact with the kids and advised them they would be cited if they continued.
I conducted foot patrol in Clay Park. On June 14, I issued a male subject a CTW for Clay Park, as well as a citation for a parking violation. On June 15, I arrested the same subject for criminal trespass at Clay Park.
On Tuesday, June 1, I went to Jane Long Elementary and had lunch with Cynthia Ocanas and Emily Rodriguez, who are in Ms. Plants third grade class. I had promised them that I would be there three weeks earlier, but I could not make it. I figured I had better go then since Thursday was the last day of school. Afterward, I went to class with them for about 45 minutes.
I made contact with Sharon Tisdale, who had a junk vehicle parked on her property. Ms. Tisdale said that she had called a wrecker service to pick it up, but was having problems because she did not have a title. I called the wrecker service and explained to them that Ms. Tisdale did not have a title because the vehicle had been abandoned on her property. On the following day, the vehicle was removed from the property. Ms. Tisdale later called me and thanked me for helping her out.
I made contact with Antonio Campos, a registered sex-offender and verified that his information was still current.
Last month, I was assured by Mr. Richard Tillery that a junk vehicle on his property would be brought into compliance. This month, I drove by the residence and saw that the vehicle was still there and was not in compliance. I attempted several times to make contact with him, but was unable to do so. I was advised by one of his neighbors that Mr. Tillery told him that he has checked into the law and the City of Richmond does not have the right to ticket him for the vehicle. The neighbor also told me that Mr. Tillery is out of state on vacation, but he would let me know when he returned.
I compiled a list of non-working street lights in Beat 7, as well as the rest of the city and gave the list to Sgt. Martin
I visited with Jimmy Bryan, the elderly person that I check on, this month. Mr. Bryan’s main topic of discussion was the heat.
