This month I went back to 705 South Seventh to check on Mr. Griffin’s progress.  He has completed the salvage yard style fence around his garage.  All of the cited vehicles are now behind the fence and out of the public view.  Therefore, Mr. Griffin is now fully in compliance with all of the cited junk vehicles.  I met three new beat contacts in the beat.  I spoke with Brandi Tucker when I was inquiring about the owner of a junk vehicle located at 809 Morton.  She advised me the owner’s name is Willie and he may live in apartment #6.  I made several attempts to make contact with no luck.  I left a city ordinance violation warning door hanger at apartment #6.  I will attempt to make contact next month.  If I don’t make contact with the owner, I will seek action with the apartment manager.  After all the rain, I have my eye on a few lots that are getting a little overgrown. Next month I will check on these lots.
